Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT (CT) certification is required.
  • BLS certification is also required.
  • Preferred certifications include RT (T) and ASRT.
Job Details
  • Unit Information: Aventura MC – CT Tech
  • Location: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center
  • Awards/Recognition: New 1.2 million state-of-the-art computed tomography scanner just added, Certified comprehensive Stroke Center, American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award
Job Requirements
  • Must have ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications.
  • Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech.
  • Preferred or nice to have: RT (T), ASRT.
Schedule Information
  • Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume
  • Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient
Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds - 18
  • Number of Staff – 8
  • Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs
  • Type of equipment – ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
  • EMR - Meditech
  • Typical procedures performed on unit(s): CT Scan, MRI, body scanner, X-Rays
