Dining Room Service Manager

Manor Lake Cartersville is seeking a highly skilled Dining Room Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining areas, providing exceptional service to our residents and guests.
Job Overview
The Dining Room Service Manager is a critical role within our community, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the seating of residents and guests, scheduling stations and work assignments for wait staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the seating of residents and guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Schedule stations and work assignments for wait staff to ensure high standards are met
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Record meal counts, reservations, and additional charges
- Confer with other team members regarding dining room status
- Assist in implementing policy and procedures of the dining room
- Provide on-the-job training for dining room personnel
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience as a Host/Hostess or Lead Server in a restaurant, club, hotel, or similar institution
- Ability to interpret and explain menu items, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process, and understand requests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and subordinates
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
