Job Overview:

As a key player in our manufacturing process, the Machinist will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of production machinery. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime and uphold product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate, set up, and optimize production machinery to meet operational standards.

· Address and resolve equipment malfunctions swiftly to maintain production flow.

· Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

· Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.

· Collaborate with the maintenance team for major repairs and improvements.

· Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Essential Skills:

· Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.

· Familiarity with measurement tools such as feeler gauges.

· Knowledge of various mechanical components including cams, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.

· Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical role is preferred.

· A background in automotive or HVAC systems is advantageous.

· Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints are essential.

Work Environment:

· This position may require working on night shifts after initial training.
