Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance our operations. This role will focus on expanding our business within the United States, particularly targeting Military and Aerospace & Defense (A&D) tier 1 clients. Responsibilities will include driving revenue through existing customer relationships and exploring new accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of proven success in selling electrical components, systems, or assemblies across various sectors, including A&D and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve or surpass sales objectives in designated markets.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships, comprehending their technical needs and business goals.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to clients, assisting them in selecting suitable interconnect products and solutions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to the management team.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and assist in contract negotiations as required.
  • Drive revenue growth in emerging market segments, application areas, channel partnerships, or geographical regions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
  • Establish a strong brand presence and revenue foundation within the scope of work over a specified timeframe.
  • Develop high-level relationships with strategically significant customers to enhance Trexon’s market share.
  • Gather, validate, and relay information regarding market opportunities, application insights, product fit, development needs, and technology trends to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular revenue forecasts for the scope of work (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Work collaboratively to devise pricing strategies, manage contracts/agreements, and conduct business analytics.
  • Oversee the health and growth of the new business opportunity pipeline.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and technical symposiums to enhance market knowledge and generate leads.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.

  • Experience in cultivating relationships with customers in purchasing and engineering.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on work across various responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail and an entrepreneurial mindset.
