Phlebotomist Job Description

At Acadia Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in our healthcare facility, responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
  • Label and process blood samples for laboratory testing.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient blood sample collection and processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards.
Requirements:
  • Certification in phlebotomy in the state of North Carolina.
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a laboratory or phlebotomy role.
  • Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
