Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Staff Financial Group in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and detailing of commercial buses to ensure they meet business travel requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and safely. If you are a motivated and experienced technician looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures on commercial buses
  • Diagnose and repair problems with transport diesel engines
  • Operate computer software to track maintenance compliance and specifications
  • Read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals
  • Complete necessary paperwork for dealer and corporate requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year diesel mechanic experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to work independently and safely
