Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Baxter Health. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct patient care and lead a collaborative nursing team.


About the Role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, emphasizing evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate will have a current RN license and at least two years of experience, with additional certifications preferred.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and lead the nursing team.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN required, BSN preferred).
  • Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of experience (preferably in a PCU setting).
  • BLS certification (ACLS within the first year of employment).
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.*
