Vascular Sonographer

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular imaging procedures, including 2D scans, duplex imaging, and doppler studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform vascular imaging procedures, including 2D scans, duplex imaging, and doppler studies.
- Measure and calculate data according to laboratory protocol.
- Provide written or oral summaries of preliminary findings to interpreting physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Work flexible hours to meet department needs.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.
- Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program required.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience required.
- Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) certification required.
- ARRT Vascular Sonography certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
