KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Input shipment information into the computer system to generate necessary documents and labels, apply rates and charges, facilitate export clearance through U.S. Customs, and monitor shipments with carriers from origin to destination. Daily
  • Coordinate the collection of shipments from customers or vendors to Kintetsu World Express, (U.S.A.), Inc (KWE) location. Organize transfer of shipments from KWE to carrier. Daily
  • Schedule flights with airlines for customer shipments, providing flight details and shipment information to clients. Daily
  • Print shipment documents, assemble, and distribute as required for export. Print and affix cargo labels to shipments. Daily
  • Finalize Master Air Waybill (MAWB) and verify entry data of MAWB and House Air Waybill (HAWB) for corrections, if necessary.
  • Issue and finalize pouch MAWB's for shipments being sent to airlines. As needed
  • Assist in visually inspecting freight, ensuring it has the appropriate stickers for correct shipping. As needed
  • Create invoices for customer shipments, third-party, and freehouse billings. Daily
  • Provide service and support to clients and overseas offices regarding shipment status, transit, or irregularities. Daily
  • Maintain and update customer templates, pre-alert distribution lists, and new customer IDs. As needed
  • Generate reports for tracking milestones as required for Quality Management System (QMS). Weekly
  • Create and update non-conformance reports to ensure adherence to QMS standards. As needed
  • Assist in developing and updating operations and customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). As needed
  • Support Manager in Request For Quote (RFQ) rate or service data preparation as needed.

Ability to lift objects unassisted weighing up to 50 lbs, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
