Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Endovascular Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
  • Prepare patients for procedures.
  • Review medical history, position patients, and clean/shave/numb testing sites as needed.
  • Describe and report test results; recognize recording errors and artifacts and react promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Lock/tag out equipment if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Technologist.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
