Valor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Dickinson, ND.
About the RoleAs a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical services to our nation's veterans.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients under the direction of a supervising physician
- Conduct thorough examinations and develop patient management plans
- Order and perform diagnostic tests, interpreting results and providing patient notification and follow-up care
- Counsel patients on medication use, educate on health maintenance, and assess mental health issues
- Evaluate patient records from outside medical providers and work with patients to ensure continuity of care
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program (MSN required)
- Certification by applicable professional organization
- Minimum one year of clinical experience as a CRNP in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting
- Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment
- Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS
- Unrestricted DEA registration
