Job Summary

MEDIKO is seeking a Medical Professional to join our team. As a Medical Professional, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting while observing and maintaining security requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional setting
  • Observe and maintain security requirements
  • Respond to medical emergencies
  • Provide initial examination upon entry into the correctional facility
  • Provide day-to-day medical care
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered state/commonwealth Registered Nurse license
  • Completion of an Accredited Nursing Program leading to licensure with the ability to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved)
