As we expand our services, we are looking for a Registered Nurse to support our clinical operations. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver general nursing care to patients within the clinic setting, administering medications as per established protocols and physician directives.
  • Maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and assist physicians during patient evaluations and treatments.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patients' medical conditions, promptly informing physicians and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Prioritize care for patients exhibiting significant changes in their health status.
  • Oversee patient records and ensure that pre-operative communications are conducted effectively.
  • Handle incoming patient inquiries related to treatment and provide guidance on medications and care instructions.
  • Assess patients' conditions and responses to treatments, relaying pertinent information to the medical team.
  • Exhibit clinical proficiency and professionalism in emergency situations.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and integrity of patient information and organizational data.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of two years of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital environment, ideally with exposure to pre-operative and post-operative care.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Understanding of acute and chronic care protocols, medication administration, and patient management.
  • Ability to assess patients with chronic conditions and knowledge of disease processes.
  • Familiarity with health promotion strategies that empower patients in their care.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in intravenous catheter insertion.
  • Adept at analyzing and interpreting medical records and patient data.
  • Capable of evaluating and adjusting patient care based on clinical assessments.

ABILITIES:

  • Ability to make informed decisions within the scope of nursing practice and clinic protocols.
  • Provide educational resources to patients regarding their procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety is maintained at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Standard office environment with some community travel required.
  • Shifts may vary between 10 to 12 hours.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Requires sitting and standing typical of an office environment.
  • Some bending and stretching may be necessary.
  • Manual dexterity for operating a computer and other office equipment.

ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENTS:
