Key Responsibilities
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Facility Supervisor and will be responsible for:
- Conducting general repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components.
- Performing cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, waxing floors, and utilizing necessary maintenance equipment.
- Managing waste disposal and ensuring cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Using appropriate cleaning agents and solvents for various surfaces.
- Handling heavy lifting and moving of equipment as required.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
Work Environment
The position may involve exposure to various environmental factors typical of a casino setting, including:
- Secondhand smoke and elevated noise levels.
- Frequent interaction with guests and staff in a dynamic atmosphere.
- Physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting items weighing 25 pounds or more.
