Care Manager Supervisor

Partnership for Children of Essex (PCE) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Manager Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Care Managers in the discharge of their duties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
- Collaborate with families to organize and coordinate the development of a Child Family Team, monitoring ongoing quality assurance of service providers.
- Coordinate the effective production of high-quality service and resource management within PCE.
- Provide formal and informal presentations throughout the community on the missions and goals of PCE.
- Plan and coordinate service utilization, needs, gaps, and linkages in conjunction with the Community Resource Manager and Community Resource Team.
- Serve as a role model to Care Managers, youth, and their families.
- Adequately staff Care Management teams by participating in the hiring and performance assessments of Care Managers.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate in-service training for Care Managers and others.
- Plan, design, prepare, and analyze reports consistent with established database and defined Quality Management System.
- Provide critical information and analysis and creative ideas to Senior Management and the Board of Trustees of PCE regarding quality service delivery and resources.
- Serve as liaison to the Operations Director on matters directly relating to child and family services, and those requiring approval.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties, as assigned by supervisor or higher-level management personnel.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education) with a minimum of two year's post Master's related supervisory experience in child welfare, children's behavioral health, juvenile justice, special education, or a related public sector human services or behavioral health position working with at risk children and families.
- Experience in clinical assessment and child/adolescent development, with community-based experience preferred.
- Clinically and culturally competent, with the training and experience necessary to manage complex cases across child serving systems.
- Knowledge of the Essex County community preferred.
- Computer literate with excellent writing skills.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Ability to work with energy and enthusiasm on a successful team.
- Experience with community relations and resource development a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Prior wraparound experience a plus.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
