Position Overview
As the Clinical Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the daily clinical and personnel functions of the nursing department. Collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, your focus will be on enhancing the quality of patient care and the services delivered by your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the nursing staff, which includes RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs, ensuring effective training and development.
  • Supervise the administration of medications, blood draws, and other patient care activities.
  • Maintain oversight of budgetary concerns, supplies, and inventory management.
  • Conduct pre-employment health screenings, including physicals, TB tests, drug screenings, and vaccinations as necessary.

Work Environment
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will engage in direct patient care and monitor nursing staff performance through rounds, requiring a significant amount of time on your feet. The role primarily takes place within the facility and an office setting.

Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for the Clinical Nursing Supervisor position, candidates must hold a valid nursing license in good standing with the appropriate nursing board, adhering to the Multi-State Compact Agreement. Previous experience in long-term care is essential, along with a background as a nursing supervisor in any clinical environment.
