Your Impact

The Civil Engineer Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the civil engineering aspects of renewable energy projects. This role combines technical civil engineering expertise with project management skills to ensure projects are designed, reviewed, and executed effectively. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the civil engineering components of projects from site assessment through final construction.
  • Assist in and develop site layouts and assessments, and assist in project optimization.
  • Oversee and review civil engineering plans and stormwater management designs.
  • Oversee the permitting process and support the construction team.
  • Coordinate with external civil engineers, survey teams, attorneys, and permitting authorities to ensure all necessary approvals and documentation are obtained.
  • Lead the civil engineering aspects of renewable energy projects, ensuring all designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and assist in creating site layouts and assessments, including assisting in project optimization.
  • Develop, oversee, and review bid and construction-level civil engineering plans, including erosion control, grading, and stormwater management designs.
Requirements
  • BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required.
  • EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred.
  • 3+ years of civil land development experience, with a focus on renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of Procore and PVcase Ground mount is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading civil engineering projects from design through construction.
  • Field experience in construction-level civil engineering, particularly in the renewable energy sector, is highly desirable.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000.
