Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Oversees and organizes the efforts of personnel involved in the setup, installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment, as well as the fabrication of metal components and tools.
  • Guides team members in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair tasks associated with machinery and equipment.
  • Assists staff in identifying issues and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Leads workers in the disassembly, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery.
  • Manages inventory and requests for spare parts as needed.
  • Modifies programming for robotic systems and related equipment, including robot controllers and programmable logic controllers.
  • Analyzes production schedules and estimates the labor hours required to complete job assignments.
  • Ensures adherence to safety regulations by providing necessary training in OSHA mandated practices such as Lock Out/Tag Out, welding safety, and electrical safety; also ensures compliance with company safety policies and conducts monthly training on various safety topics.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members and assigns tasks accordingly.
  • Establishes or modifies work procedures to align with production schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills are a must.
  • A Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
