Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lounge Server to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality service and attention to detail.
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability, ensuring seamless service and minimizing delays.
  • Record transactions accurately and efficiently in our MICROS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Check in with guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and seamless checkout experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in a food and beverage or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
