Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lounge Server to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Food and Beverages: Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set Tables: Set tables according to type of event and service standards, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
  • Communicate with Guests: Answer questions on menu selections, communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, and ensure guests' needs are met.
  • Process Transactions: Record transactions in the MICROS system at time of order and present physical and accurate checks to guests.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • License or Certification: None required.
