We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetry Professional to join our team at Methodist North Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist - Medical Dosimetry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Dosimetry Certification: Possess current medical dosimetry certification (CMD) and maintain certification through ongoing education and training.
- Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical medical dosimetry.
- Shift and Schedule: Work a regular Monday to Friday schedule, 8am to 4:30pm, with no local hires and a 100-mile radius rule applying.
- Additional Requirements: Provide two forms of government-issued ID, complete an I-9 form, and undergo E-verify or attestation for APN.
- Clinical Requirements: Possess AHA or ARC certification for ER, Tele, MS/Tele, Stepdown/Tele, ICU, CVICU, SICU, PACU, Cath Lab, Dialysis, RRT, L&D, and CVPICU roles, with AAP certification being the only acceptable option for Peds, ER, Peds Oncology, and PICU.
- Methodist-Specific Requirements: Hold Intermediate AWHONN certification for L&D within 2 years of start date and have all certifications signed by the candidate prior to commencement.
