Calibration Technician at Brechbuhler Scales, Inc.

Position Overview:
As a Calibration Technician, your primary responsibility will be to service and calibrate a wide range of testing and measurement instruments utilizing both conventional and specialized tools. This role requires the ability to work autonomously with limited oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct calibrations, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of instruments.
• Travel to client locations for on-site service as required.
• Engage with colleagues and clients to ascertain their needs.
• Support the training of new technicians.
• Enhance technical skills through ongoing education and self-directed learning.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation.
• Develop and refine calibration protocols and measurement methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance systems and standards.
• Confirm calibration dates of equipment prior to utilization.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive interactions.
• Assist in the upkeep of operational facilities.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment for calibration tasks.

Qualifications and Educational Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant coursework in related disciplines is preferred.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or with electronic devices is advantageous.
