Job Description:
A Day in the Life of a Caregiver/Homemaker:
In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. Your responsibilities may include assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as preparing meals and providing emotional support. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to established safety precautions and infection control practices. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other caregivers, therapists, and medical professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with clients, family members, and healthcare teams. A valid driver's license is required, and CPR/First Aid certification is necessary. Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk frequently throughout the day.
