Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck to transport parcels between terminals, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Logistics and Operations: Turn in pre-trip forms, complete mileage and maintenance records, and report any vehicle defects, accidents, or damage.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Must possess a valid CDL Class A driver's license, have a good driving record, and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds repetitively, with full range of motion and no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with time spent outdoors in changing weather elements, in a vehicle, and other hazards pertaining to road conditions, vehicle operation, and package content.
