Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge: The employee must possess and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically, the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in:

  • Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs.
  • Knowledge of growth and development.
  • Understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patient.
Common Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and document all applicable records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker interactions, fostering a culture of respect and professionalism.
  • Comply with the company's attendance policy, ensuring timely and regular attendance.
  • Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution, driving excellence and innovation.
  • Perform work in a cost-effective manner, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Education and Credentials
  • No High School Diploma and/or No GED (Required)
  • Food Handlers Card (Required) Within 30 days of hire
