About the Role:

At The Goddard School, we believe in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Lead Teachers in delivering exceptional care and education to young learners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Lead Teachers to implement engaging lesson plans aligned with our 'learning through play' philosophy.
  • Provide attentive supervision and guidance to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist in daily activities such as diaper changing, toileting support, and mealtime assistance, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Compliance with all applicable state regulations and The Goddard School's employment policies.
