Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
  • Provide instruction and support in a variety of settings, including general education classrooms and specialized settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Autism Authorization
  • Three years of teaching experience desired
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality instruction and support to students with disabilities
