Job Summary

  • Transport residents to various locations within the facility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages, taking into account residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as toileting, bathing, and grooming.
  • Respond to residents' call lights and deliver messages, ensuring timely communication and support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, as required.
  • Document residents' food intake and output, maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Assist with resident transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • CNA certification within 4 months of hire.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Speak and understand English.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Nurse assistant experience helpful.

Work Schedule

  • Evening Shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks.
  • 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
  • Every other weekend.
  • Every other holiday.
  • Occasional call time.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
