This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Claims Department in processing and servicing policyholder claims. The purpose of this role is to ensure claims are resolved accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and effectively manage first notice of loss (FNOL) intake
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and poise
- Scan and index claim file documentation with attention to detail
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment with ease
- Learn and apply basic insurance fundamentals to support claims processing
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- General clerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and spelling/grammar
- Experience working in a team environment and ability to collaborate on shared tasks
- Experience working in a paperless environment preferred
