What You Need to Succeed:

To be a successful truck driver with Ace Hardware, you must:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer on-road experience or comparable experience with large military vehicles
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and meet the physical qualification requirement established for the USDOT
  • Have a valid CDL and be able to obtain a Hazardous material endorsement within 90 days
  • Be willing to participate in the DOT random drug testing program
  • Be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand highway signs and signals, converse with delivery clients, and respond to official inquiries
