Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team at SRS Distribution Inc. as a Logistics Specialist II. This role involves delivering building materials to customers within a 200-mile radius of our home branch, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations, prioritizing safety and adhering to local, state, and federal laws.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintain accurate records.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck, verifying purchase orders and delivery tickets.
  • Conduct job site inspections, documenting any existing damage and capturing photos of delivered products.
  • Load and unload building products weighing up to 100 lbs. each, utilizing a straight bed truck.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Class B CDL.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, with a minimum of 21 years of age for interstate travel or hazardous materials transport.
  • Pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify Check.
