Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing educational and behavioral services to children and adults with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior management techniques, including prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies, to support individuals with special needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in crisis.
- Review and implement behavior intervention plans to ensure effective support and progress.
- Collect and analyze behavioral and academic data to inform instruction and support.
- Document sessions and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Participation and completion of Amergis Competency program when applicable.
- Current CPR certification if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
