Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial sales within your assigned location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with commercial customers to drive sales growth and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage the acquisition and delivery of products, provide ongoing customer service, and maintain expert knowledge on parts and inventory.
  • Act as the primary contact for commercial customers, maintaining open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers, generating appropriate delivery documentation for each delivery.
  • Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers, maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry, conducting research to guarantee the customer is offered the 'right part for the right price'.
  • Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts, process returns, and reconcile accounts.
  • Visit commercial accounts, ensuring accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised, contributing to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management team, assist with training and developing drivers, commercial specialists, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring AutoZoners are implementing safe practices, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Follow proper accident and claim procedures, comply with safe driving rules and procedures, and ensure all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status.
  • Properly maintain vehicle(s) and report vehicle maintenance issues.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
  • Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and excellent selling skills.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
