Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A current RN license in New York State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting

The estimated annual salary for this position is $71,869 - $77,917, based on experience and qualifications.
