Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
