About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Amherst, MA.

Job Summary

In this role, you will assess and support students' academic, social, and emotional development, helping them overcome challenges and succeed in school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to help students address academic, social, and emotional issues.
  • Collaborate with school teams to create and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Work with families, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff on how to address mental health and behavioral concerns.
  • Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to interventions.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in school psychology.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Licensed School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
  • Passionate about supporting student success and well-being.
