Job Opportunity:

GPAC is seeking a Sales Agronomist to join our team in the Midwest. As a Sales Agronomist, you will be responsible for making seed, fertilizer, and chemical recommendations to growers, working alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities, and facilitating positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet customer needs and increase sales revenue
  • Provide expert advice on agronomic practices and products to growers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and customer service initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and market research

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field
  • Proven sales experience in the agricultural industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work in multiple locations in the Midwest
