AtWork Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Akron, OH. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the engineering and specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mechanical equipment designs to meet client needs
  • Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support design, as well as piping flexibility studies
  • Lead engineering projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Interface with clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
  • Perform field work as needed to support project requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on industrial and manufacturing processes
  • PE (Professional Engineering) License preferred, but not required

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Authorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
  • Submits to a drug test post offer
  • Possesses a valid driver's license
  • Accepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs

Job Type:

Full-time, direct hire position with a hybrid/remote work option

Location:

Akron, OH, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays

Compensation:

$90K-155K salary, with the potential for overtime pay
