Mortgage Loan Officer Opportunity at Travis Credit Union
Travis Credit Union (TCU) is actively seeking to fill 2 REMOTE roles for Mortgage Loan Officers. While these positions are primarily remote, occasional attendance at staff meetings is necessary. Candidates should possess a proven track record of self-generated business within the regions served by TCU: Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with external partners.
- Establish and nurture relationships within the community to enhance mortgage loan production.
- Coordinate events aimed at increasing brand visibility and fostering business connections.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve marketing objectives and assess industry trends.
- Originate mortgage loans while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with members to guarantee timely closings.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and TCU's products and services.
- Comprehensive understanding of real estate lending standards and regulations.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and self-driven.
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
- Capability to customize communications for diverse audiences.
- Reports directly to the Manager of Mortgage Loan Officers.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Loan Officer.
- At least 3 years of experience in self-sourced mortgage business.
- Proven expertise in prospecting and generating loan volume.
Additional Qualifications:
- NMLS registration in compliance with the SAFE Act.
- Participation in the TCU Driving Program is mandatory.
