We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
- Conduct required calibration and quality checks, noting results in appropriate logs, while practicing radiation safety and observing universal precautions.
- Interact with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies and programs.
- Manipulate raw data, review studies for correct positioning and overall quality, and perform decontamination procedures.
- Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
