Job Overview

Position Summary
The Child Transportation Coordinator will assist our transportation driver in the safe pick-up and drop-off of children. This role requires effective communication with families, colleagues, and children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that children are securely fastened in their car seats or van seats. The position involves completing both morning and afternoon transportation routes, with options for part-time or full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely buckle and unbuckle children
- Ensure proper securing of children in car seats
- Maintain attendance records for children on the transportation route
- Communicate effectively with families regarding transportation matters

Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Completion of seatbelt and car seat safety training
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Training as a mandated reporter

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with children aged 6 months to 12 years
