About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level geotechnical engineering and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement geotechnical engineering solutions for a wide range of projects and clients.
  • Conduct field investigations, engineering analysis, and calculations to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Prepare and review proposals, reports, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage geotechnical projects, including schedule, budget, and quality control, while maintaining a safe working environment for field personnel.
  • Provide technical oversight and review of projects requiring standard investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification required, with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.

Terracon offers a competitive salary range of $72,400 to $112,200 per year, based on individual qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and holidays, education reimbursement, and various bonus programs.
