Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights Job Description

The Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights is a critical role at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, requiring a skilled and compassionate nurse to respond to urgent patient needs and provide high-quality care. As a member of the Rapid Response Team, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and address patient situations, prioritizing care and making decisions that impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Practice/Quality of Care: The Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights will systematically collect and assess data to provide therapeutic care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to establish a comprehensive plan of care.
  2. Resource Utilization: The Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights will consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning and delivering care, utilizing technology to support practice and efficiencies in care delivery.
  3. Collaboration: The Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide patient care, delegating and supervising care in accordance with nurse practice acts and professional nursing role.
  4. Ethics, Research, and Education: The Clinical Coordinator Rapid Response Team RN Nights will make decisions and take actions with patients and families in an ethical manner, using research findings in practice and acquiring and maintaining current knowledge in nursing practice.

Requirements:

  1. Current RN License
  2. BSN or Bachelors degree in related field, preferred
  3. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
  4. Current American Heart Association ACLS
  5. Current American Heart Association PALS, or within 90 days of hire
  6. Current American Academy of Pediatrics NRP, or within 90 days of hire
  7. Crisis Preventive Institute (CPI) Training, or within 90 days of hire
  8. Minimum of three (3) years RN experience
  9. Minimum of two (2) years Critical Care, Emergency Room, Intermediate/Progressive/Step-Down Care, preferred
  10. Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills
  11. Demonstrated ability to present self in a positive and professional manner
  12. Computer skills, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  13. Electronic Medical Record experience with Cerner, preferred

Shift: Nights

Hours: 1900-0730

Schedule: 3 Shifts Weekly. Some weekends required

Pay Range: $47.33 - $73.34

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee's qualifications and experience.
