Job Title: Senior Electronics Packaging Engineer

LTTS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Packaging Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Low Voltage Hardware Mechanical team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design 3D and 2D models with manufacturing tolerances accounted for to ensure good Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop detailed requirements for electro-mechanical systems and components
  • Collaborate with Packaging team to understand vehicle-level packaging locations and verify thermal performance of ECUs
  • Design and develop connectors, interconnects, and pins for PCBA side
  • Work with Environmental Test team and Vehicle Test teams to design test plans to validate designs at component, system, and vehicle level
  • Collaborate with EE Engineers to finalize board layouts for component placement
  • Assess old and new suppliers for the project to ensure cost-effective, quality, and timely delivery of parts
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of industry-relevant experience
  • Knowledge of different levels of electronics packaging, preferably Level 4 packaging
