Rehabilitation Focus
The rehabilitation services are committed to assisting individuals in attaining their maximum level of independence and facilitating the transition from illness to wellness at home and in the community. We emphasize the restoration of mobility and functionality.

Role of the Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services, which include:
- Conducting assessments for residents/patients/clients
- Developing care plans
- Implementing treatment strategies
- Providing consultation within an interdisciplinary team environment at various Lutheran SeniorLife facilities and agencies, including skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health, and outpatient clinics.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Occupational Therapy; a Master's degree is preferred.
- One to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with the senior population is essential.
- Proficiency in computer software necessary for documentation and communication.
- Must maintain a current PA License as an Occupational Therapist, including fulfilling continuing education requirements.
