Commitment to Safety

Position Summary: Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.

This full-time role is based in our Waxahachie, TX location. Our workshop consists of a close-knit team of approximately 8 technicians. The primary focus of this position will be on the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of our Yard Spotter Truck fleet, including major models such as Tico, Ottawa, and Capacity, with engines from Cummins and Caterpillar.

Work-Life Balance:

  • Monday to Friday: 7 AM to 2 PM
  • 7-Hour Workday with a Paid 30-Minute Break
  • Simple Philosophy: Work Hard, Enjoy Your Evenings
  • 35 Hours per Week - Total Commitment Required
  • Competitive Starting Pay: $20-$24 per Hour
  • Full-Time Employment Status

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform refurbishment tasks on Yard Tractors
  • Gain hands-on experience from the ground up
  • Begin in the refurbishment shop with ample opportunities for advancement
  • Engage in welding, sanding, fabricating, painting, and electrical work
  • Transform older trucks into like-new condition
  • Assist Mechanical Technicians as needed
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to formulate repair plans and estimates
  • Execute all necessary repairs promptly
  • Maintain effective communication with team members
  • Keep accurate records of work performed using company protocols
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Ensure a well-organized workspace and care for all tools and equipment
  • Uphold a standard of excellence within the shop

  • Familiarity with heavy equipment
  • Clear passion and career goals in Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repairs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in a big truck dealership is advantageous
  • Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred
  • Possession of personal tools (most tools for this position are provided)
  • Able to pass background and drug screening
