As an ICU Travel Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and monitoring patients in a critical care environment.
  • Administering and documenting prescribed medications while reporting any adverse reactions.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to aid in patient care.
  • Collecting samples for laboratory analysis and managing corresponding lab work.
  • Monitoring specialized equipment and interpreting electronic displays.
  • Ensuring the proper placement and functionality of medical devices.
  • Communicating effectively with patients' families regarding their conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients.
