The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in acute care settings. As an ICU Travel Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and monitoring patients in critical care.
  • Administering medications and documenting any adverse reactions.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Collecting samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Managing specialized medical equipment and interpreting electronic data.
  • Ensuring the proper placement of medical devices.
  • Communicating effectively with patients' families regarding their conditions.

Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the capability to lift patients when necessary. Candidates should be prepared to handle potential exposure to various health hazards.

Qualifications: Candidates must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications, along with a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience.
