Aerospace Quality Inspector Role:

As an Aerospace Quality Inspector at Aerotek, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the production of aerospace components. Your primary duties will include performing incidental minor salvage operations, conducting hardness tests of finished metal parts, and preparing, dipping, draining, washing, emulsifying, developing, drying, and inspecting stock and forgings using blacklight techniques. You will also be responsible for probing and removing defects observed in the inspection process, occasionally drawing sketches of defects, and locating defects on drawings. Additionally, you will pack and unpack products for shipment in conjunction with the inspection operation and use industrial trucks to transport material in the work area.

Work Environment:
This is a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with metals weighing anywhere from lbs. All metals are moved via crane or automated robot. Inspectors will have assigned work stations but will be moving around to perform different quality testing.
