Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Center is a critical role in our hospital's mission to provide high-quality patient care. As a RN, you will be responsible for delivering care to preterm, laboring, and post-partum women and newborns admitted to the Women's Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and Avera St Mary's Hospital's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or higher.
- Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure.
- ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The RN - Women's Center will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion.
