As an Occupational Therapist - Behavioral Health Specialist at Grandview Medical Center, you will play a vital role in evaluating, administering, and directing therapeutic procedures in pediatric-, adult-, and geriatric- behavioral health environments. You will work closely with referring practitioners to establish goals of occupational therapy and reassess patient progress at regular intervals, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to identify occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer and direct therapeutic procedures, including occupational therapy interventions and activities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in occupational therapy
